Design, in my eyes, is how software can connect people to a world that feels familiar
My story starts when I was diagnosed with an invisible disability during my second year of college. The apps and sites I’d grown up with suddenly felt like they were built for someone else. I was stuck inside, feeling a bit lonely, and downloaded Figma to make memes for my brother and friends.
Design quickly blossomed into the way for me to reconnect with my new world. I realized that the more care and intention that went into the software we use and build, the more we can craft experiences that feel familiar and invisible.
I'm only one story, and I wake up each morning hopeful that I can help shape software that lets someone feel at home, as if their software was designed just for them.
